Burn a CD/DVD ISO using one simple command in Win7/8

Everyday, we need to burn some CD/DVD for installing some software applications. Now this task is made as easy as running a single command in Windows 7/8.
Windows7 and Window8 provides a free image burning utility called the Windows Disc Image Burner that allows you to quickly write CD and DVD images. The utility has a graphical interface but can be run from the command prompt by passing the proper parameters.
Steps To start burning a CD or DVD ISO file:
  • Press Win key+R to open Command prompt.
  • Enter the following command.
    • isoburn /q drive:\file.iso
      • Where drive:\file.iso is the full path of your ISO image of the file.
      • For example: isoburn /q d:\en_windows_7_ultimate.iso
    • After entering this command just press Enter, and the Windows Disk Image burner will open.
    • Click Burn, and your process will start.

Alternatively, you can also burn files by running Windows Disk Image Burner and then pass theISO file location and click the Burn button.
